Your first useful result,
one step at a time.
Install the client, choose your modules and start with a small, reviewable task. This guide is for invited preview users; public downloads and live purchases are not open yet.
Keep the right plugin on the right site.
- Obtain the client ZIP through your preview invitation. Do not install an unverified copy.
- In WordPress, open Plugins → Add Plugin → Upload Plugin. Choose the client ZIP, install it and activate SiteGraph.
- When updating an existing preview, replace the plugin in its existing folder. Do not uninstall it or activate a second renamed copy.
- Open SiteGraph OS → Dashboard to review setup and available modules.
Use the requirements supplied with your build. The current preview requires WordPress 6.2 or newer and PHP 7.4 or newer; use supported versions suitable for your hosting.
Start with a few modules.
Choose the tools you need on the dashboard. You can begin with a link inventory, missing-page monitoring or reader navigation, then expand gradually.
- Review which plugin currently controls titles, sitemaps, redirects and schema.
- Choose one owner for each output before enabling overlapping features.
- Open a representative page and check the visible result after saving.
Connect when you need Pro.
- Use the service address and site connection key supplied for your preview. Keep the key private.
- On your website, open Settings → SiteGraph Cloud.
- Enter the connection details, read the content-sharing options and save.
- Choose Test connection. Confirm the displayed plan and access date before starting Pro work.
Preview access is currently provisioned manually. The account’s subscription and website-activation flow is being tested separately; applying for the preview does not activate it.
Disconnecting locks new Pro work. Existing saved preferences and reports are retained. Managed services still need an active connection; check each module before relying on its public output.
Connect pages that belong together.
Pick one service and a few locations you actually cover. This keeps the first result easy to check.
- Create or review the relevant service and location entities. Give locations valid latitude and longitude.
- Classify your published service and location pages, then assign the right entities. Check coverage and exclusions.
- On the SiteGraph Cloud screen, select an eligible page and generate its recommendations. Ordinary related-service and nearby-page matching uses no AI credits.
- Add the existing Nearby Locations or Related Services block or supported shortcode to the page.
- Preview the page. Check every destination, the service offered and whether it makes sense for a visitor. Refresh saved recommendations after relevant assignments change.
Keep the layout you already use.
SiteGraph works around your content workflow. Individual editing features have their own supported content boundaries.
WordPress block editor
Use the relevant SiteGraph block where it is available, configure its options and preview the result. Check both desktop and mobile before publishing.
WPBakery
Use a supported SiteGraph shortcode in an element that renders shortcodes. Copy the shortcode from the relevant module’s settings; names and options vary by module. Do not paste PHP into the page. Review the frontend before publishing, and do not assume that automatic link insertion can safely edit every nested builder structure.
Custom fields and ACF
Enable selected ACF fields for analysis only when you intend their contents to be processed. Check the extracted text on a sample page and exclude private or irrelevant fields.
Know what starts a new charge.
Pro access and new AI work are separate. Reviewing current saved analysis does not itself request another AI scan.
- Choose only the pages you want processed and review external-processing exclusions.
- Read the quoted credit allowance before starting a supported AI task.
- Review suggestions before applying them to your content or entity library.
The preview uses test credits where provided. Paid credit purchases and Agency own-key connections are not available yet. Google Reviews uses no AI credits, although Google service allowances still apply.
Check the small things first.
Pro controls are greyed out
Save your SiteGraph Cloud connection and run Test connection. Check the endpoint, site key and access date. A saved key alone does not prove an active licence.
No nearby recommendations appear
Check valid coordinates, eligible destination pages, service coverage and exclusions. Generate the recommendations for the correct page, then verify that its display block or shortcode is present.
A page still shows the old result
Save the relevant changes, refresh recommendations where needed and purge the page cache. Avoid repeated AI scans when the issue is only cached display output.
A job has not finished
Review the analysis queue and its error message. Confirm that scheduled WordPress tasks run on your hosting. Check an existing request before starting another paid operation.
